Here are a few things we are loving this month!
Cochonita & Co.
Have you checked out Cochonita & Co.? They have a storefront in the East End that they share with Kickin' Kombucha, and let me say, this place should NOT be a secret. You can come in and grab coffee, delicious and fresh Mexican cuisine, and kombucha, plus shop their market! I am OBSESSED with their salsas, trail mix, and tortilla chips! Can't wait to try the tamales that I just bought!

Christina Au's Pastries
If you haven't tried her viral pop-tarts at one of the pop-ups that attract foodies from around the city, I can forgive you. But I must say, her homemade "Snickers" bar rocked my world, and you need to try anything she is creating ASAP. Head to Blacksmith Coffee shop to try her pastries this weekend!
Look, I love a good cocktail and there are so many fun, interesting, and exciting cocktail bars in Houston. But there is just something about a wine bar that captures the VIBE, especially on rainy days like we have been having. Maybe it's the soft music, maybe it's the leather furniture, I don't know exactly, but give me some cheese, and open that bottle! Here are a few wine bars we love!

So, this is kind of a joke, but there is a bit of truth to it. Haven't we had enough of summer, Houston? I am over sitting poolside and sweating -- it's A/C or bust! So, that's why I head to Minute Maid Park to catch the Astros or to the museum district to walk around for a few hours. I also love a spot with indoor games and drinks, like Cidercade and Palace Social!
Curious about Palace Social? Come check out this restaurant and good-time spot with us in September! Learn more below.
