WHAT IS THE STORY BEHIND THE HOUSTON DINNER CLUB?

The Houston Dinner Club started in 2015 with a group of friends who had all recently graduated and were looking to try different restaurants around Houston. The group formed and started visiting different restaurants once a month.  Since then, the group has evolved as some members have moved and new members have joined, but the heart of the dinner club has remained the same: enjoy a wonderful meal with great friends.

HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?

We now offer an annual and a monthly membership option!  Please go to "Join the Club" to see more about the memberships and sign up for one of the options. You will create an account, and then you will be able to purchase your membership.

DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO PARTICIPATE?

You do not have to be a member to come to our signature monthly events, but you will not be able to sign up for members-only events.

WHAT DO THE HDC DINNER EVENT TICKETS INCLUDE?

Each dinner event will be hosted at a different restaurant in the Houston area.  The menu will be pre-set and available for you to see prior to purchasing your dinner ticket. The dinner ticket generally will be all-inclusive and include everything for the evening's party, such food, wine pairings, social hour snacks, and gratuity for us to show our appreciation to the restaurant staff.  At some events, wine pairings or alcohol may be sold separately.  Please check event ticket/menu for details.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT A HDC DINNER EVENT?

When you arrive, you will be greeted by the HDC host and welcomed into the party for social hour.  We encourage you to meet other attendees and unwind from your day with a drink and appetizers. After social hour, the attendees will be seated and then the dinner will begin!  You will then be welcomed and given an overview of the dinner or restaurant by the chef or restaurant owner, as well as your HDC host for the evening, before being served the curated menu for the evening.  Relax, enjoy the cuisine, and connect with other guests, before our send off with dessert!

HOW OFTEN DOES HOUSTON DINNER CLUB MEET?

Right now, we are hosting events once or twice a month! We will have members-only events quarterly.

IS IT ALRIGHT IF I COME ALONE?

Of course! Many of our guests purchase single tickets, and we welcome our solo fliers with open arms. Your HDC host will be sure you are welcomed upon arrival and will introduce you to some other guests. Between social hour, family-style dining, and open seating, you will have plenty of opportunities to meet other guests and make new friends.

WHAT IS YOUR TYPICAL DEMOGRAPHIC?

We typically have a mix of 30s, 40s, 50s, and up!  All ages (21+) and backgrounds are welcome! We are a friendly group, and we enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories.
