SOUTHERN DINNER WITH INDIANOLA AND MISS CAROUSEL

March 22, 2022

Our March dinner event at Indianola and Miss Carousel served as the perfect event to roll out our membership! The family-style dinner in their private event room was delicious! Guests loved the salmon, grilled chicken, and steak dishes served alongside polenta, brussels sprouts, charred carrots, and beet salad. The cafe tres leches and the chocolate cake made for a sweet ending to the evening! Our community loved the cocktail hour mingling and the intimate setting for our dinner.

93 'TIL SERVES COOL VIBES AND AMAZING PLATES

February 21, 2022

Our community got together on a Monday evening at 93 'Til. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves as we enjoyed some of the tastiest cocktails and dishes! We started the dinner with beet salad with citrus and goat cheese and tandoori chicken skewers, before moving on to Denver-cut steaks with smoked beef fatty rice. The olive oil cake was delicious, too! Each dish was paired with a cocktail or glass of wine, and our community was hanging out and laughing at the restaurant event after the last dishes were cleared.

TEQUILA-THEMED DINNER WITH FIORI

January 25, 2022

Fiori hosted our January 2022 event, featuring a tequila flight and class, and Italian tequila-themed menu. Our guests were able to go behind the bar and make their own cocktail with one of the Fiori bartenders! The gnocchi was to die for!

CONTEMPORARY VIETNAMESE WITH XIN CHAO

November 10, 2021

Our last event for the year was hosted at the wonderful Xin Chao! This Vietnamese concept just won CultureMap's award for Best New Restaurant, and the cuisine did not disappoint! We enjoyed social hour with cocktails, egg rolls, and oysters, before having a seated dinner with steak and Chinese broccoli, pork belly and crispy rice, and coconut bread pudding. This spot located off of Sawyer and Washington is definitely a Houston stand-out!

ASTROS WATCH PARTY WITH SHOOT THE MOON

October 26, 2021

We hosted our first casual concept at Shoot The Moon, Houston's new "tasting tavern" experience located in Spring Branch. Our guests loved trying out the self-serve alcohol wall with over 80 taps of beer, wine, cocktails, and spirits. The menu featured a variety of Shoot The Moon's gourmet pizzas, small plates, and cheesecake! We had a great time at this laid-back and fun new bar!

UPSCALE AMERICAN DINNER WITH URBAN AMERICAN KITCHEN

Urban American Kitchen team hosted our 2nd event at their location off Memorial and Kirkwood! The evening was kicked off with a craft whiskey cocktail and small bites, such as bacon wrapped dates, caprese skewers, and mini-empanadas.
The dinner menu included a spinach salad with goat cheese and warm bacon vinaigrette, slow-roasted short rib with polenta, and a chocolate brownie with Valhrona chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream, all complete with wine pairings.

LAMBRUSCO AND BRISKET DINNER WITH HENDERSON & KANE

Our first event was hosted at Henderson and Kane and featured a lambrusco and brisket themed menu. With 30 people in attendance, our social hour with a burnt end bruschetta and cocktails marked the beginning of a great evening. From there, we enjoyed three delicious courses paired with different Lambrusco wines. The guests were sent off with a bar of chocolate from a local chocolatier.

Vendors: Migaloo Chocolates, Local Flora Flowers, Antonio Maccieri Wines, and Bar Chefs Houston syrups.
